Privacy Policy

1. Summary

The App works fully offline. We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal data entered into the App. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone and is sent nowhere unless you share it yourself.

2. What the App stores on your iPhone

• fireplace details (name, type, manufacturer, model, serial number, dates, warranty);
• maintenance tasks, reminders, checklist results, service records and journal entries;
• photos, scanned documents and files you add (manuals, warranties, invoices);
• contact details you choose to enter for reports (name, phone, email);
• your settings.

This information is saved only on the device. We have no access to it.

3. Permissions

• Camera — to scan the QR code on your fireplace, take photos of your fireplace and scan documents. Photos stay on your iPhone.
• Photos — only the pictures you choose are added to your records.
• Notifications — for maintenance reminders you set. They are created on the device; no server is involved.

Each permission is requested only when you use the related feature. You can say no and still use the App with manual entry. The App does not use your location, contacts or microphone.

4. Data you share yourself

PDF reports, exported files and backups are created on the device. They leave it only when you choose to share, save, print or send them (for example by Mail, AirDrop or Files). After that, the service you use to share them is responsible for that copy.

5. No account, analytics, advertising or tracking

The App has no registration or login, contains no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking tools and makes no network requests in the background. The App never opens links from scanned QR codes.

6. Storage, backups and deletion

Data is kept until you delete it. You can delete items one by one or delete all data in the App's Settings. Deleting the App deletes all its data from the iPhone; we cannot recover it. Your iPhone's own backup (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) may include the App's data; this is managed by Apple and your device settings. You can also create a backup file in the App (More → Backup & Restore) and keep it where you choose.

7. When you contact us

If you write to us at hearth@danskysp.com, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to answer you (legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing support, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep this correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and no longer than 24 months, and we do not share it with third parties except our email hosting provider.

8. This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. Our hosting provider may keep technical server logs (such as IP address, date and requested page) for a short time for security and to keep the site working.

9. Children

The App is intended for adults who own or manage a fireplace and is not directed at children under 16.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because the App does not send us any data, you control App data directly on your iPhone. For personal data we hold (for example your emails to us), contact hearth@danskysp.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl), or the authority in the EU country where you live.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with a new date. If a future version of the App starts processing data differently, we will update this policy before that version is released.
